Help with Exposed Aggregate Concrete Patio I just moved into a house that has a rough exposed aggregate concrete patio (150 square feet) It's awful to walk around on I'm considering the following DIY remedies, but if anyone has tried to smooth out aggregate (literary I can almost pick out the rocks - it's original from 1971) I'd love advice 1

Here's what I was thinking pea gravel 2" around post then pour 2 bags concrete I did this on a few posts then noticed after a rain storm the water just pooling and sitting on the top of the concrete I was originally just going to top the holes off with aggregate but now I don't know The soil is clay here
