    What about just increasing the gearing, running gravel tires and leaving the flat bar? If alternate hand positions are needed for long gravel rides, use bar ends, togs, and or clip on aero bars I put a rigid fork, taller gearing, bar ends, and faster rolling 700x50 tires on my old MTB and it works great as a gravel bike
