  • Millers vs. Mpix Pro - The Photography Forum
MPIX pro's catalog is wider than Miller's and includes things like framing Miller's will do (and encourages) their color correction, mpix pro will not do color correction at all (mpix, the consumer side, can and will) Mpix Pro's free shipping is only if the order exceeds $100, but is all fedex and I believe next day Click to expand

  • Color correction from MPIX? - The Photography Forum
I'm ordering from MPIX for the first time and didn't know if I should have them do color correction or if I should decline it? Ive got a calibrated IPS monitor and the photos look the way I want them on my screen so I wasn't sure which way to go Any insight is appreciated
  • Snapfish vs. Mpix: In print quality only | The Photography Forum
Just wondering if anyone has compared these two specifically? I'm wondering if there's a defenite improvement in print quality at Mpix over Snapfish I've heard good things about both, just want to know if the extra cost at Mpix is worth it Thanks - Jason
  • MPIX quality? - The Digital Darkroom: Process, Technique Printing . . .
MPix B W prints use Kodak B W RC paper with "D" surface (which is very matte) I'd strongly recommend NOT sharpening B W photos for MPix I haven't have a problem with color ones, but the properties of the paper plus maybe their own sharpening (I wasn't aware of this before this thread) results in very strong black haloes
  • Comparison: Shutterfly, Winkflash, Adorama, Mpix, A I, and local pro . . .
For a variety of reasons, recently I’ve made a semi-scientific comparison of prints from Shutterfly, Winkflash, Adorama, Mpix, A I, and my local pro lab, Professional Color Service I’d be curious to hear how your experiences and observations compare to mine <P> <B><U>Shutte
  • Do you use MPIX processing for your film? - Photo. net
Many of you in this forum have stated that you use mpix for your digital prints with very good results Have any of you used them for your film developing? The pro lab in my area is very expensive for processing and I don't believe in going to the discount stores or 1 hours for my prints I curre
  • Tips for accurate b w prints from MPIX? - Photo. net
By the way, I was somewhat interested and amused with what I got recently with some Mpix true B W prints My brother shot some T-Max 400 and had a local camera store develop it and scan it with (I'm 95% sure) a Noritsu mini-lab Mini-lab scans are of course known for having excessive contrast I just uploaded several of the files to Mpix, and the 4x6 prints looked pretty good I suppose the
  • MPIX vs. Millers | The Photography Forum
MPIX has always rocked for us, and with them printing on the same Kodak Endura paper as everyone else it really doesn't make sense, however, I would never let them color correct my images whether it be MPIX or Millers, considering color correction and manipulation is what we do
