  • 457 which company to choose : r personalfinance - Reddit
I use Mission Square, we have access to a small handful of actively managed target date funds and a couple of state specific money market and bond funds The only redeeming factor is brokerage link with TD Ameritrade I am not sure that is available universally though
  • MissionSquare Retirement - Which funds to choose? : r investing - Reddit
My employer also uses MissionSquare - the few funds on offer aren't listed with tickers, and some are just listed with hilariously non-informative names
  • Anyone here have a plan with MissionSquare (formerly ICMA-RC)? - Reddit
Mission Square was part of their rebranding, but apart from the name change their service has remained consistently good Our rep is responsive and friendly, though I am pretty hands off with contributions Everything is automated and I am a ways out from retirement so I really only log on quarterly to check on my accounts
  • Anyone here in the know about Mission Square Retirement (MSQ)
Hi all I myself am finally getting in tune with investing and my current portfolio set up by Mission Square I’ve attached my portfolio that I’ve been DCA’ing over the past 23 yrs What I’ve gathered is- only one of my funds shows a 10 yr return of 10% or greater It also has the lowest expense ratio of 84%
  • Nationwide vs MissionSquare for 457(b) : r investing - Reddit
My employer offers a 457(b), which I should really be taking advantage of, due to their matching contributions
  • Fidelity or MissionSquare? : r personalfinance - Reddit
Mission Square has zero clarity on its website When I find that an admin tells you very little, that is not a good sign BUT!!!!! Internet Search this "Plan Default Funds 300456" That takes you to the City of Ann Arbor and shows expense ratios of most if not all of the funds from mission square Their expense ratios are not egregious
  • Mission Square Retirement rebranded, then moved my retirement . . . - Reddit
Not sure which subreddit to ask this, Mission Square rebranded from IMCA-RC, I am unfamiliar with how this went down However, they moved my retirement funds to a fund that is very similar, (only difference is the "fund code") but has much higher net expenses, ( 20 vs 95)
  • Retirement Fund Expense Ratios Extremely High : r Bogleheads - Reddit
I am currently employeed as a city employee and have access to a 401(a) and 457(b) The city I am employeed with has a generous match of 8% which I am currently meeting but the retirement plan is through Mission Square Retirement, which as I've come to realize after learning a small bit about retirement funds, has awful expense ratios
  • Better to move my Roth IRA from MissionSquare or nah?
As the title reads, I have my Roth IRA in Mission Square through my employer As I've learned more about investing in general, I've found that the options presented to me through Mission Square seem unappealing I currently have them in America Funds 2060 which has an expense ratio of 0 75% There doesn't seem to be any notably better options
